Why We Built It
A Directory for the Rest of the Market
Hosting recommendations often circle back to a small set of well-known companies. Many deserve that attention, but hundreds of capable providers serve particular countries, workloads, and customer groups with much less visibility.
HostVeritas widens that view. A company can have a useful, structured profile without first receiving a full editorial review. Buyers can filter by service and location, read customer feedback, and inspect available uptime records before visiting a provider.
A listing is a starting point for research. It is not a recommendation, certification, or claim that we have tested every listed service.

HostScore has researched, tested, and reviewed web hosting since 2019. That hands-on work provides depth, but a full test cannot cover every hosting company. HostVeritas extends the view through a broader directory.

Customer Reviews
Users submit their experiences. We moderate reviews under our review guidelines; a review remains the reviewer's account.
Uptime Records
Where available, we publish independently monitored results for a specific endpoint and period. Those results do not describe every server or customer account.
Editorial Opinions
HostScore assessments are clearly attributed. Providers cannot edit HostScore conclusions through their HostVeritas profiles.

What Payment Can Affect
Paid profiles can receive enhanced tools, eligible uptime publication, and access for supported AI crawlers. Featured placements may appear first in relevant directory results and are labeled.
AI crawler access does not guarantee a citation, recommendation, or appearance in an AI answer.
What Payment Cannot Affect
Payment cannot change customer ratings, independent uptime results, review moderation, or HostScore editorial conclusions. A paid or featured profile is not an endorsement.
We apply the same review standards to free and paid providers, including legitimate criticism and public responses.

HostVeritas was founded by Jerry Low, founder of HostScore and WebRevenue. Jerry and the HostScore team have researched hosting companies, operated test sites, and measured hosting performance since 2019.
